The MVBCP consists of a Director, Lead Teachers, and Assistant Teachers. To be considered for employment, all staff must have experience working with young children. The Lead Teacher is responsible for the planning and implementation of the curriculum. Assistant Teachers assist the Teachers and help manage and support the program. All staff report to the Director. The entire program is a ministry of the Mount Vernon Baptist Church (MVBC) and is overseen by the Church Administrator.
All staff are required to participate in professional development and education throughout the year.
All staff are required to be certified annually by a practicing physician or nurse practitioner to be free from any disability which would prevent them from caring for children.
All staff are required to do a background check prior to working.
All staff are CPR, First Aid, and MAT certified
