Curriculum Description

MVBCP uses the Abeka curriculum.  The Abeka curriculum Bible program builds a strong biblical foundation at an early age. It has a strong phonics program that helps develop early literacy skills.  The math program introduces students to beginning math skills.  Teachers will provide Christ-centered instructions on learning and playing together to promote cognitive and physical development. Through challenging age-appropriate activities that nurture their relationship with Christ, family, and friends, children entrusted to our care will flourish and grow. Teachers will also incorporate faith-based lesson plans into the curriculum that will reinforce Christian character. Included in our curriculum is Chapel time. Abeka (known as A Beka Book until 2017) is a publisher affiliated with Pensacola Christian College (PCC) that produces K-12 curriculum materials that are used by Christian schools and homeschooling families around the world.
